The Listening Program

The Listening Program is a well researched music based program. It is customized to target goals relating to executive functioning skills, sensory processing, and motor coordination. The program can be completed both inside and/or outside of treatment sessions and is a great addition to occupational therapy services. Jenna is a certified provider through Advanced Brain Technologies.

Stronger Roots Therapy believes that support to caregivers and staff can provide children with a consistent environment and expectations in order to grow. We provide continuing education to day care and school staff in order to help support children from all angles!
Meet the Therapists
Jenna downs, motr/l
Jenna is the owner and occupational therapist at Stronger Roots Therapy. She always found joy working with children. When pursuing her Master's degree in occupational therapy, she knew pediatrics is where she would end up. During school she completed extensive research on screen time and outdoor play and how each impact a child's development. She seeks opportunities for children to increase independence in their daily lives. She loves being outdoors and believes nature is one of the best places for therapy- both physically and mentally.
Linnea Quist, OTR/L
Linnea earned her Master's degree in occupational therapy at Springfield College. Since, she has worked in a variety of settings including residential schools, children's hospitals, outpatient pediatric clinics, and an acute care burn unit. She has a passion for learning and consistently is diversifying her knowledge and skills. She loves helping children of all ages overcome challenges through play and positive experiences. Some areas of interest include sensory processing, feeding, handwriting and general development. In her free time she loves being outdoors, running, and enjoying time with her new puppy, Ziggy!
