Private Occupational therapy
We provide evaluation and treatment for pediatric patients ages 0-21 years. We provide individualized skilled services to allow your child to grow and develop into individuals who find meaning and purpose in life's journey. Our clinic is fully equipped with a swing, mats, fine motor corner, and plenty of room to move and play.
Occupational Therapy on Campus
We have partnered with Indian Mountain school to provide occupational therapy services to students. Have your child receive services without having to travel to Warren. We come to your child on campus allowing us to support them in their own environment while working with teachers to help your child thrive!!
Move and Play class
Our baby and me class is a great way to meet other families while learning all about your baby's development. Our classes are focused on educating families on normal development while learning new ways to play that support baby's milestones. Our classes are a welcoming and relaxing way to get out of the house and connect with others!
The Listening Program
The Listening Program is a well researched music based program. It is customized to target goals relating to executive functioning skills, sensory processing, and motor coordination. The program can be completed both inside and/or outside of treatment sessions and is a great addition to occupational therapy services. Jenna is a certified provider through Advanced Brain Technologies.
Community Education
Stronger Roots Therapy believes that knowledge is power. We are happy to educate caregivers so they can best support the children. We provide continuing education to day care and school staff in order to help support children from all angles. Additionally, we host various lectures and courses including CPR and First aid and Starting Solids Safely. Looking to learn about a specific topic? Let us know!
Meet the Therapists
Jenna downs, motr/l
Jenna is the owner and occupational therapist at Stronger Roots Therapy. She always found joy working with children. When pursuing her Master's degree in occupational therapy, she knew pediatrics is where she would end up. During school she completed extensive research on screen time and outdoor play and how each impact a child's development. She seeks opportunities for children to increase independence in their daily lives. She loves being outdoors and believes nature is one of the best places for therapy- both physically and mentally. When shes not working, shes enjoying time with her husband and two daughters on their family farm.
Linnea Quist, OTR/L
Linnea earned her Master's degree in occupational therapy at Springfield College. Since, she has worked in a variety of settings including residential schools, children's hospitals, outpatient pediatric clinics, and an acute care burn unit. She has a passion for learning and consistently is diversifying her knowledge and skills. She loves helping children of all ages overcome challenges through play and positive experiences. Some areas of interest include sensory processing, feeding, handwriting and general development. In her free time she loves being outdoors, running, and enjoying time with her puppy, Ziggy!
